Here at Love Pastry, we love diversity. When we saw this video on a new set of Barbie’s, we wanted all of our Pastry Fans to be in the know. It is nice to see a new phase of the dolls that diverse groups can relate to. Stacey McBride, the inspiration and creator of these dolls, explains in this clip what she had in mind when making them. It is a must see.

She’s more than just a pretty face…..

When most people see Jessica they think she is just a beautiful girl with long gorgeous hair. Yes, she is very beautiful but it’s deeper than just looks. Jessica has been singing since she was a little girl, and has blossomed into a sweet young lady with alot of talent and a big heart. Right now Jessica is super busy on tour with Justin Bieber, and she has been doing fantastic with her opening performances. I believe what caught Pastry’s eye was that you have such a young girl with a humble spirit that wants to make a difference in the entertainment industry. Not only is she flawless but she totally compliments Angela and Vanessa’s style. I don’t mean that she imitates their look, but she has a unique style that makes the Pastry brand stand out from other brands.

Jessica Jarrell is Pastry’s Ambassador, which means she is the face of Pastry. As many of you may know, Jessica is currently on tour with Justin Bieber. Jessica is one of the hottest young singers out right now along with Justin. Angela and Vanessa chose the right young lady to represent Pastry. Pastry definitely believes in “brand clarity”, we want maintain a positive image at all times. Jessica is currently signed with Def Jam Records. V&A With a Bunch of Box of Chocolates

Attention Pastry Girls, we have good news from the bakery. These are the new shoe line fresh out of the oven and going to be in stores really soon. We did not bake any Pie’s or Cookies, but these shoes have a fresh new recipe from Vanessa and Angela Simmons. They mixed in chocolate, flour, and some sugar, and created the Box of Chocolate’s.

JJ hits Omaha and Grand Prairie

Love Pastry Brand Ambassador, Jessica Jarrell, recently landed in Texas and Nebraska for the 4th of July weekend. From the looks of it and the screams, everyone had a blast. As usual, JJ and Justin preformed their duet, “Overboard”, but also Jessica preformed with the super-group, The Stunners, and let us tell you, their performance was simply stunning. We are sure Omaha and Grand Prairie had a fantastic time and both Justin and Jessica Jarrell did not disappoint. We are so excited to present the new shoe line for all of you dancers and athletic Pastry Girls. We have tarts and pies, and now to add to our collection, we have the box of chocolates. Vanessa and Angela are wearing them here and from twitpics on their twitter, they are wearing them whenever they have to exercise or dance.

Words of Encouragement for our Pastry Fans

Supporting A Sweet Education

Hi Pastry Fans,

I know that these blog posts keep you updated with new items from Pastry, but it’s time to give you words of encouragement. We have tons of Pastry fans and we appreciate all of you. We would like to congratulate all of our graduates. Graduating from high school is a major achievement and you will now begin a new chapter in your life. Pastry wants everyone to pursue their goals and dreams. Learn to believe in yourself and allow yourself to be surrounded by positive people who have the same drive as you do to be successful. Have the courage to stand alone and do what is right. NEVER allow yourself to be something that you’re NOT! Always be true to yourself, because at the end of the day that’s what matters most. Remember that you all are young ladies, learn to have respect for yourself, carry yourself with class and always be ahead of the game. Set the standard in the beginning, that way it is easier for you to distinguish the real from the fake. Most importantly, DON’T EVER SETTLE FOR LESS. You deserve the best, and always give your best in everything you do.

Pastry Lima ♥

I’m in love with the Pastry Lima wedge, yes MORE wedges for the summer. As most of you Pastry fashionistas may know, strappy sandals and wedges are definitely major trends this season. I think the Lima wedge is a very playful shoe but it can have a seductive appeal depending on your style. What makes the Lima wedge interesting is the intricate stitching that is located on the side of  shoe with sweet combinations of coca brown chocolate and mocha delight.
