Our Pastry girls, Angela and Vanessa had an exclusive event last week in Las Vegas to celebrate the latest collection ‘Box of Chocolates’. The event was very successful with the support from the Pastry team along with close friends. I call Angela & Vanessa’s look of the night, “Deliciously innocent”, because they always seem to dress appropriately with a dab sexiness and it’s never too much, just enough! Do you all know what I love most about Jessica? Well not only is she always stylish but if you follow her on Twitter, she constantly tweets positive energy and she really knows how to connect with her fans. Jessica is definitely touching the hearts of many teens because of her determination and incredible talent. She maintains an innocent image by acting her age and not allowing the public eye to consume her. I can’t wait for the day that I can do a live interview with Jessica, Angela and Vanessa . That way you all will really get to learn and get a taste of what the Pastry girls do.

Check out Pastry’s co-owner Angela Simmons at the movie premiere of ‘Lottery Ticket’. Doesn’t she look dope? Once again, Angela surprises us with her fab chic look. She always carries herself with poise and class. This outfit definitely defines simplicity at it’s best. I say that because the dress has a unique pattern with careful stitching, and all you really need is a fab heel with tasteful accessories that isn’t over-the-top. Pastry at it’s finest!

Happy Birthday PASTRY ♥

Happy Birthday Pastry!

This month I would like to take the time and do a special post and wish Pastry a Happy Birthday. Some of you may not know the history of Pastry, and I want to give you a mini recap. Pastry was founded in 2007 by Angela and Vanessa Simmons. Just like the rest of us, they had a vision about starting their own company. Soon that dream became a reality and look at Pastry now and how much it has expanded. Do you guys remember the ‘Fab Cookie Collection’? When those came out, I knew that I had to get them because they were so cute and stylish. Then came along the the ‘Pastry Glam Pie’, that particular collection was definitely a top seller. Pastry has designed clothing and accessories worn by numerous celebrities. Today, Pastry is wanting all their fans to live a healthier lifestyle all while being stylish and fresh. Pastry has a hot new collection that will be launching this month, “Box of Chocolates”. In that collection, Pastry has fly sneakers that was designed for our girls who are athletic.

Here at Love Pastry, we love diversity. When we saw this video on a new set of Barbie’s, we wanted all of our Pastry Fans to be in the know. It is nice to see a new phase of the dolls that diverse groups can relate to. Stacey McBride, the inspiration and creator of these dolls, explains in this clip what she had in mind when making them. It is a must see.

After the show it’s the After Party with Jessica!

You guys ever wondered what Jessica does after performing? Well come to find out, Jessica and the incredibly talented Justin Bieber have these HUGE water fights. Crazy, right? Often times people see Jessica as a celebrity and forget the fact that she is still a teenager. I love the fact that her and Justin have this down-to-earth personality. Of course I’m sure they’re tired from performing but they must keep the fun and positive energy around. This is for all of  our Pastry teens, you don’t always have to attend a house party, or club to have fun. Sometimes you have the most fun when it’s just you and your peers at home, whether it’s eating pizza, playing cards, or even just having girl talk. Enjoy your youth and embrace it.
