PASTRY SHOE ICONS VANESSA AND ANGELA SIMMONS DONATE TO HAITI EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS

NEW YORK, NY –Pastry shoe brand entrepreneurs, Vanessa and Angela Simmons, announced their commitment to provide assistance through Haiti earthquake relief efforts. The powerful earthquake struck Haiti on January 12 and was centered about 15-miles from the nation’s capital, Port Au Prince, causing an estimated 100,000 deaths countrywide.

With nearly 50 percent of Haiti’s population under the age of 18, a donation of Pastry shoes, as well as clothing, will be delivered to the local children. “Being able to give Pastry shoes and clothes to these kids during such a devastating and critical time is our way of helping and showing support when it’s needed most,” shared Angela Simmons.

Contributors to the creation of the popular and successful Pastry brand, the Simmons’ humanitarian efforts will help fulfill the needs of Haiti’s youth who have had their homes destroyed and are without shelter. Vanessa Simmons stated, “We can all do something to help. Pastry has chosen to give Haiti’s kids who are displaced and vulnerable to this heart-breaking situation.
