The Rise and success of PASTRY!

First off we would like to congratulate our girls Vanessa and Angela for the continued success of lovepastry!! Blackenterprise.com interviewed our dynamic duo pastry girls on the rise, success, and future of Lovepastry! The interview spread like wildfire and was featured on several blogs over the weekend! With a start of only 4 pairs of sneaker, today Pastry has grown into a huge fashion empire with girl power written all over it! SWEET! We would like to take the time out to specially thank you all! Our Pastry girls! Girls you are the reason behind our accomplishments! Thanks for your continued support. We will make sure to keep representing you with all of our yummy styles!

This is not all pastry has in store!!! While we are in the great holiday giving spirit, Vanessa, Angela, and everyone here at Lovepastry has teamed up with Ne-Yo in an effort to make this Christmas on to remember for several foster children. The girls will provide shoes and clothing donations to the boys and Girls club of America and Toys for Tots. Also Lovepastry.com will be donating $1 for every Krumpit sneaker sold from Dec 10- Jan 10. Come on girls help us make a difference today all in the joy of the holiday spirit!!

1. Hide the Cranberry Sauce from Angela! She can eat it all by herself!

A Pastry Winter

So, the fall/winter season is upon us. Of course we have to gear up for the cold temperature, but who says we still can’t look sweet?!? Here are a few fab outwear pieces, paired with our Freshly Baked Pastry Shoes and Sneakers, giving you looks to sweeten your fall/winter wardrobes!

Military inspired fashion is ALL THE RAGE this year, especially for the winter. This is evident with the  Bomber Jacket ($69.95) from American Eagle. Not only is it fashion forward, but it will be sure to keep you warm and cozy during the winter months. Pair it with the Honey Knee Boot, a nice shirt and a pair of jeans or leggings, and you’ll be sure to turn heads!

National Cupcake Day!!!

This past week, we added some more sweetness to our day and celebrated National Cupcake Day!

Like our Freshly Baked Pastry Kicks, cupcakes are a yummy thing to add to our day, so we listed some of the great places to enjoy cupcakes!

1. Crumbs Bake Shop: Although we’re loving ALL the cupcakes, National Cupcake Day was focused on the classic Vanilla Cupcake, something that Crumbs is known for. With locations in New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Los Angeles, Crumbs is providing Fresh Baked Sweetness to both coasts. Reminds us of the Carmen Wedges- fun, funky, classic, sweet.

2. Georgetown Cupcake: Walk into this spot- located in the Georgetown section of DC and in Bethesda, Maryland- and you’ll have a sugary overload!  Like the Sprinkle Booties, you’ll never go wrong when choosing such cupcakes as Chocolate3.
