Star Dance Alliance presents Dance for Janie

Star Dance Alliance, Pastry, and seven leading dance studios across America have partnered with Janie’s Fund to bring awareness to the epidemic of child abuse and raise funds to support children and young adults in their trauma recovery. Dance for Janie was created to further empower young people by using artistic expression (dance) to a build strong, resilient, and caring next generation of advocates that will use the voices to end abuse.

About Janie’s Fund:
Janie’s Fund is a philanthropic initiative created by Steven Tyler in
partnership with Youth Villages to provide hope and healing our
country’s most vulnerable girls who have survived the trauma of
abuse and neglect. Now in year seven, Janie’s Fund was named after Aerosmith’s 1989 hit “Janie’s Got a Gun,” which tells the story of a young girl who was abused by her father, Janie’s Fund.

PASTRY PARTNERS WITH JANIE’S FUND: BIG VOICES FOR ABUSED GIRLS

You're making a difference! Support young women that have experienced the trauma of abuse and neglect by making a donation a checkout on lovepastry.com. Annually, over 10,000 of these brave survivors will age-out of the foster care system without a loving and permanent family to support them in their dreams. The LifeSet program provides critical support during this often-times treacherous transition, ensuring they receive the resources and intensive guidance needed to reach their full potential. Pastry and Janie’s Fund believe EVERY young person aging out of foster care deserves access to this effective program. Together we'll make this possible!
